Growish, a Milan, Italy-based fintech startup, raised €400k in funding.
Backers included Club degli Investitori, Banca Sella Holding, R301 Capital, business angel Lodovico Rosnati and the founders of the company.
The company intends to use the funds continue to grow in Italy and launch abroad, and expand its offering with new solutions for such sectors as travel, retail, e-commerce, banking, sharing economy, community and donation.
Co-founded in 2014 by Claudio Cubito (CEO), Domingo Sarmiento Lupo (CTO) and Milan-listed business incubator Digital Magics, Growish provides a digital group payments company platform which has managed over €3m in transactions from over 30.000 users via Growish.com (online collection), ListaNozzeOnline.com (wedding list) and partnerships with LastMinute.com (group gifts), Uvet Travel Network (e-wallet platform based on the management of the wedding list for over 1,000 travel agencies) and FantaCalcio-online.it.
The team also includes Lorenzo Colombini, full stack developer, Gaia Riccardi, front-end developer, Caterina Pancotti, customer service and social media manager, Caterina Caldara, who leads partnerships with travel agencies, and Miriam Bastia, digital marketing strategist.
