Hadean, a London, UK-based distributed compute platform, raised a $2.6m seed funding round.
The round was led by White Cloud Capital, with Entrepreneur First participating.
The company will use the funds to build out its development team and scale the technology towards open availability of the platform in 2017.
Founded by Rashid Mansoor (CEO) and Alec Mocatta (Chief Architect), Hadean provides a distributed compute platform which enables organizations working with Big Data to deploy and run code at any scale using their existing tool chain (Rust, C, Linux etc.).
Having launched in 2016, the company is now in beta with customers operating across finance, genomics and enterprise.
Open availability is slated for 2017.
