InRoad Toys Closes Series A Funding Round

InRoad Toys, a Crofton, MD-based toy maker, closed a Series A funding round.

The round was led by Shurtape Technologies, LLC.

InRoad Toys has also added O’Reilly Auto Parts, Imaginarium, and select Target stores to its expanding network of retailers.

Led by Andy Musliner, CEO, InRoad Toys makes PlayTape, which allows kids to instantly create roads and rails for toy vehicle play. PlayTape sticks to any flat surface, is easy to tear and reposition, and is recyclable.
The company has also added O’Reilly Auto Parts, international toy chain Imaginarium, and select Target stores to its network of retailers– more than 5,600 additional stores in 20 countries. PlayTape is now available in more than 12,000 stores in 35 countries.
