Mogees, a London, UK-based machine learning and gestural recognition developer, rasied £1m in equity funding.
The round was led by LSG Venture with participation from:
– Elio Leoni Sceti, board director of ABInbev, former CEO of Iglo group and previously CEO of EMI;
– Haim Perry, founder and board member of Hotels4U,
– Eric Nicoli, former Non-Executive Chairman of HMV Group plc, The Tussauds Group Ltd and Vue Entertainment Ltd as well as CE of United Biscuits and CEO of EMI. A.I., and
– Music Group.
The company intends to use the funds to extend its machine learning technology for broader human computer interaction applications.
Led by Bruno Zamborlin, CEO and Founder, Mogees is currently developing new multi-platform hardware and software targeting the iOT, gaming market, VR, AR, smart toys and industrial applications.
The investment follows the launch of The Mogees Pro, which combines software and a vibration sensor to transform any object into a musical instrument.
