People.ai, a San Francisco, CA-based maker of a predictive sales management platform, raised $7m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Index Ventures and Shasta Ventures and existing investors Y Combinator and Ron Conway’s SV Angel. In conjunction with the funding, Nakul Mandan, Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, will join People.ai’s board of directors.
The company will use the funds to expand operations.
Led by Oleg Rogynskyy, founder and CEO, People.ai is a sales management platform powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) that enables companies to improve the performance of their sales teams by surfacing insights and delivering recommendations about coaching, ramping and deal analytics.
Graduated at Y Combinator’s summer 2016 batch, the company has signed 50+ customers including Salesloft, Gainsight, and MemSQL.
