Stanley Robotics, a Paris, France-based robotics company focused on parking, raised €3.6m in funding.
Backers included Elaia Partners, Idinvest Partners and the investment fund Ville de Demain – run by Bpifrance as part of its “Investments in the Future Programme” (Programme d’investissements d’avenir – PIA).
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the global expansion of its robotic parking solution.
Founded in 2015 by Clément Boussard (CEO), Aurélien Cord (CTO) and Stéphane Evanno (COO), Stanley Robotics is advancing an outdoor robotic parking solution. Stan, a completely autonomous vehicle, collects a car parked in a designated parking spot at the park entrance and parks it for the driver, taking care of everything including getting the car ready upon the return.
The solution has already been rolled out at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
