Adams Street Partners, a Chicago, IL-based private markets investment firm, raised $475m across their venture/growth equity fund programs.
The Adams Street Venture/Growth Team leads $5m to $30m investments into high growth technology and healthcare companies, and deploys between $125m and $150m per year. The team has nine dedicated investment professionals across its Menlo Park and Chicago offices, and focuses on venture capital and growth equity investments in the SaaS, Mobile, Cloud, Security, FinTech, Healthcare IT, Medical Device, and BioPharma sectors.
Led by Terry Gould, Partner & Head of Direct Investments, Adams Street Partners has made over 225 investments into technology and healthcare companies since its inception in 1972. The Venture/Growth Team has an active portfolio of over 50 companies, and collectively serves on the board of more than 40 of these companies.
