Brightree LLC, a Lawrenceville, GA-based provider of cloud-based software to improve business and clinical performance of post-acute care organizations, acquired Conduit Technology, LLC, a provider of documentation and workflow solutions.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
In 2014, the two companies formed a strategic relationship which resulted in the introduction of MyForms, which allows providers to create custom forms based on provider- and payer-specific business rules. Once the forms are created, a dynamic data exchange between the systems automatically populates the document with patient and order data from the Brightree system, reducing order processing times.
MyForms currently has more than 200 HME organizations and nearly 7,000 users.
The acquisition will allow Brightree to enhance its MyForms documentation and workflow management solution to give home medical equipment (HME) providers access to workflow and automation technology to eliminate paper forms, reduce claim denials, improve audit outcomes and create process integrity, especially in the order intake process.
