ClassPass, a NYC-based membership platform for fitness classes, raised $70m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Temasek, with participation from current investors Acequia Capital, CRV, General Catalyst, GV, M13 and Thrive.
The company will use the funds to accelerate growth, invest in product innovation and expand operations.
Led by Fritz Lanman, CEO, and Payal Kadakia, Founder and Executive Chairman, ClassPass connects members to a variety of fitness experiences, including yoga, cycling, Pilates, barre, running, strength training, dance, sports, videos and more.
It currently gives membership to over 8,500 fitness partners in 39 cities worldwide.
