Peerfit Raises $2.3M in Funding

Peerfit, a Tampa, Florida-based digital platform for employee health benefits, secured $2.3m in funding.

Backers included Joseph Hodges, Chris Sullivan, Lee Arnold, Craig Hasday, Adam Okun, and Rich Gallun.

The company will use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand its reach nationally.

Led by Ed Buckley, III, Ph.D., CEO, and Scott Peeples, president, Todd Slawter, chief growth officer, and Adam Lowe, chief technology officer, Peerfit is a digital platform that provides insurance carriers, brokers and employers corporate wellness programs via a network of premium fitness studios – offering a variety of classes that cater to all levels of fitness – using workplace wellness dollars.
Companies only pay for employees who use Peerfit, which allows organizations to instantly upgrade their wellness programs without a premium price.

More than 30,000 people currently have access to Peerfit’s network of boutique fitness studios in more than 30 cities.
