Rokt, a provider of a platform for e-commerce companies to improve customer engagement, closed a US$26M Series B funding.
The round, which was led by Moelis Australia Ltd. (ASX: MOE), with participation from John Ho, Lachlan Murdoch, Greg Roebuck, Square Peg Capital and Time Inc. (NYSE: TIME), consisted of US$15m, announced in February 2017, and a further US$11m investment just made by existing investors.
The company is using the funds to facilitate its acquisition of CalReply, a provider of calendar marketing solutions, to broaden its offering as well as accelerate its global growth.
Led by Bruce Buchanan, Chairman and CEO, Rokt provides a platform that enables e-commerce companies to improve customer engagements and meaningful native monetization. Users include such brands as eBay, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, Gumtree, AXS, Dominos and Kogan, among others, as well as thousands of performance marketers focused on acquiring large numbers of new customers at the point of transaction.
The company has offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore.
