Talla, a Boston, MA-based provider of intelligent conversational service desks, secured $8.3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Glasswing Ventures with participation from PJC, Avalon, Pillar and Launch.
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing efforts and continue to invest in its advanced natural language processing infrastructure.
Led by Rob May, CEO and Co-founder, Talla provides a Service Assistant product that gives over 2,000 businesses the ability to use artificial intelligence to automate their service desk processes through chat. With Talla, IT and HR questions and requests can be created and answered automatically for employees directly through chat platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Talla’s own web-based TallaChat.
Talla can be used both as a standalone service desk or alongside traditional service desks.
