Element Data, Inc., a Seattle, WA-based decision support software platform that leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to power decisions worldwide, closed a $3.5M series seed plus round.
Backers included:
– Heather Redman, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Flying Fish Partners, an early stage venture firm based in Seattle,
– Anscor International Inc.,
– Archibald Cox Jr., and
– Deerhaven LLC.
The company, which has raised $5.2M in total funding to date, intends to use the capital to build the team of engineers to further develop software products.
Led by CEO Geoff McDonald, Element Data is building a cognitive computing product called DICE (Decision Insights Computation Engine) that combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, and decision intelligence to uncover trends and behaviors to predict and influence future outcomes by quantifying how people make decisions.
As of July 2017, the company has 14 employees.
