Escape Technology, a Roseville, CA-based provider of ERP software for K-12 schools in California, received an investment from Alpine Investors.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. In conjunction with the funding, Will Adams, a partner at Alpine, joined the board of Escape.
Launched in 1985, Escape provides a comprehensive business system to Unified School Districts and County Offices of Education, which features Finance, Payroll, and Human Resource modules to manage mission-critical budgeting and payroll processes for the unique needs of California school business.
Robert Towery, who had served as Escape’s CEO, will retire and the current Escape President, Ramona Marshall, will continue running the day-to-day-business operations.
Ali Jenab, an Alpine CEO-in-Residence and part of the firm’s PeopleFirst program, has assumed the role as CEO at Escape.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its business reach.
