SleepCogni, a Sheffield, UK-based company developing solutions for insomnia, raised grant funding from Innovate UK.
This follows a recent £485k investment led by Mercia Fund Management.
The company will use the funds to advance R&D activities via a clinical trial (150 subjects over 1,490 research nights) and to grow the team.
Led by Led by CEO Rich Mills and CSO Dr Van de Werken, SleepCogni offers a real intervention for long term suffering insomniacs, integrating several scientifically founded treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for insomnia (CBTi), and a range of other features, into a bedside personal medical device.
