HannahMax™ Cookie Chips, a Birmingham, Ala.-based natural snack company, received an investment from Fenwick Brands, Inc., a Consumer Packaged Goods investor and operator.
Fenwick is partnering with existing investors, the founders and management in the undisclosed round.
The company intends to use the funds to support continued growth and expansion.
Developed by Joanne Adirim in 2012, HannahMax™ Cookie Chips offers bite-sized snacking cookies made from non-GMO ingredients including real butter and cage-free eggs, and contain no artificial flavors, sweeteners, coloring, preservatives or trans-fats.
Products are currently sold in conventional and natural grocery stores across the United States and Canada, with plans to significantly expand distribution in the years to come.
