NextView Ventures Closes Third Venture Capital Fund, at $50M

NextView Ventures, a Boston and NYC-based venture capital firm, closed its third fund, at $50m.

Per an SEC filing, 35 backers participated in the offering of NextView Ventures III, L.P.

According to a post, the new fund aims to “champion founders who are redesigning the Everyday Economy“, which includes such areas as home, transportation, food, work & money, health, apparel, and entertainment.

Led by Partners David Beisel, Rob Go, Lee Hower, Principal Tim Devane, and Director of Platform Ginny Mineo, NextView provides pre-seed and seed-stage startups across the United States with checks ranging from $100k to $1.5M in seed rounds of a few hundred thousand to a few million, ald leverages its platform to help founders get traction in hiring a team, building a product, getting customers, and raising capital.
