Backers included Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Coatue Management, and others.
The round reportedy valued the company at $1.8 Billion.
Led by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian, Reddit operates an online platform that enables communities and individuals with ideas to submit links, create breaking news or content on the latest digital trends, and have discussions about the topics, which interest them.
The company, which has offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City, says it has 300M monthly users globally.
