Zipjet, a London, UK-based on-demand laundry and dry cleaning service, received an investment from existing shareholder Henkel.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company, which is also backed by Rocket Internet, btov and a series of strategic investors, will use the funds to further consolidate its position in continental Europe.
Founded by Florian Färber and Lorenzo Franzi in London in 2014, Zipjet provides a mobile first, on-demand laundry & dry cleaning service featuring free delivery and collection. Users can download the app from the App Store or Google Play. The app will later find their location, and users can follow the on-screen instructions to schedule a collection time within 60 seconds.
Following the London launch, the company has later expanded in Berlin and Paris, in January 2015 and May 2016 respectively.
