Airobotics, a Tel Aviv, Israel–based global leader in fully automated industrial drones, completed a $32.5m funding round.
The round was led by BlueRun Ventures China, with participation from Microsoft Ventures, OurCrowd.com, CRV, BRV, Noam Bardin (CEO of Waze), Richard Wooldridge (former COO/GTM of building 8 at Facebook and former COO of Google ATAP) and David Roux (Co-Founder and former Chairman of Silver Lake Partners).
Led by Ran Krauss, CEO and Co-Founder, Airobotics has developed a pilotless drone solution for collecting aerial data and gaining insights. The industrial grade platform is available on-site and on-demand, enabling industrial facilities to access aerial data in an efficient way. With this fundraising, the company is announcing its new division of Homeland Security and Defense, as well as its new “Airobotics Safe Cities” initiative, which uses fully automated drones to perform emergency critical applications in cities.
Airobotics is also expanding its hold in industrial facilities such as mine sites, refineries, seaports, oil and gas facilities and more.
