Bastille, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an enterprise threat detection platform working through software-defined radio, raised $27M in Series B funding.
Backers included Bessemer Venture Partners, Spinnaker VC, Comcast, Keel Funds, Ballentine Capital Partners, and individual investors.
The company, which has now raised $40M in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operations and its business reach.
Launched in 2014 and led by Chris Risley, CEO, Bastille Networks leverages patented software-defined radio and machine learning technology to provide enterprise security teams with a complete solution for the Internet of Radios. By scanning the entire radio frequency (RF) spectrum, Bastille senses, identifies and localizes threats, providing teams with the ability to accurately quantify risk and mitigate airborne threats that could pose a danger to network infrastructure.
