Ori, Inc., a Boston, MA-based creator of intelligent, responsive systems that enable the transformation of interior space, raised $6m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Khosla Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to support the delivery of its initial commercial orders and the expansion of its team.
Led by Hasier Larrea, Founder and CEO, Ori combines robotics, architecture and design to deliver its concept of “programmable spaces” in which interior space adapts to people and their everyday activities. Its first family of systems, focused on inspiring applications in residential, office, hospitality, retail, education, medical and other urban settings, is available exclusively to real estate developers.
