Forensic Logic, a Walnut Creek, CA–based provider of network search technology and cloud-based information services to law enforcement, received a $20M equity investment from Mainsail Partners.
The company will use the new capital to continue its innovation in search technology, expand its network of law enforcement customers, and fund acquisitions.
Led by Bob Batty, CEO, and Brad Davis, President, Forensic Logic provides secure cloud services to U.S. law enforcement and public safety. The company deploys a national-scale search engine and information network developed in partnership between the technology community and local, state and federal law enforcement.
Forensic Logic also announced the acquisition of the Coplink suite of products from IBM. Created in 1998, Coplink is a public safety information sharing platform and provider of analytical, tactical and operational software for law enforcement. It services public safety software and services to over 5100 law enforcement jurisdictions throughout the United States.
