TalkBank, a Moscow, Russia-based digital bank working in messengers, raised $1m in seed funding.
Backers included IIDF, Mark Malinovsky and other private investors.
The round reportedly valued the company at $6.1m.
The company will use the funds to attract new clients, develop technological platforms for banks and partners and to launch pilots with banks abroad.
Co-founded by Vladimir Kozhevnikov, Mikhail Popov, and Alexander Popov, TalkBank is building an AI-driven digital bank in messengers. It gives banking users access to intelligent and actionable insights into financial habits and advanced analytics to understand commands in natural language to build brand customer loyalty.
The platform is scalable across languages and messenger platforms.
