Baum Closes Series A Funding

Baum, a Seoul, South Korea-based provider of solutions to optimize the power and energy efficiency of semiconductor designs, closed a Series A funding of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by K Cube Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the development team, and sales, support, and marketing efforts.

Founded in 2016 by Andy Ladd, chief executive officer, Baum provides electronic design automation (EDA) software and solutions that enable engineering groups in the automotive, internet of things (IoT), mobile, networking and server markets to fully optimize the energy efficiency of their semiconductor designs.
