DPOrganizer, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of data protection management software, closed a €3m Series A funding round.
The round was led by Industrifonden, with participation from Creades, existing owners Inbox Capital, Soläng Invest and private investors. In conjunction with the funding, Sara Resvik, Industrifonden tech investor, joined DPOrganizer’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to ramp up global expansion, strengthen the product and grow the tech team in Stockholm.
Led by Egil Bergenlind, CEO and founder, Sebastian Norling, CTO, Andreas Yannelos, Head of Design, DPOrganizer is a regulation tech company that offers a Saas based tool for businesses to map, visualize, report on and manage their personal data processing. The software aims to support businesses in complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into effect on May 25, 2018. The regulation affects any business handling personal data of European citizens.
Due to the growing GDPR market, DPOrganizer has grown tenfold over the last year, both in number of employees and in revenue, and serves customers in
Europe, Asia and the US.
The company has sales offices in London and Amsterdam.
