Switchboard Live, an Orlando, Florida-based live video and social media management platform, raised a $1.5m seed funding.
Backers included New World Angels (NWA), Florida’s premier structured angel investor group, which made a $555k investment, and Mosley Ventures, which made a $500k investment, among others. In conjunction with the funding, Carl Treleaven, who co-led NWA’s due diligence team with Matt Lorentzen, will join Switchboard Live’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to develop and grow adoption of its live video and social media management platform.
Founded by Rudy J. Ellis, Josh Sachs and Jason Kotte, Switchboard provides a B2B SaaS-based live video, social media management platform for creators, producers and brands to manage their live streams and create workflows that extend reach to online audiences and social connections, whether it be a sporting event, political rally, musical concert or company meeting.
