ThreatQuotient, a Reston, Va.-based threat intelligence platform provider, secured a $30m Series C round of financing.
The round was led by Adams Street Partners with participation from strategic partners Cisco Investments and NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. (NYSE: DCM) and existing investor New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and growth capital partner Silicon Valley Bank. In conjunction with Fred Wang, a partner of the Venture/Growth Team at Adams Street Partners, will join ThreatQuotient’s board of directors.
The company, which has a secured a total of $54m in financing to date, intends to use the funds to increase product development acceleration and expand sales and marketing efforts in the US and internationally.
Led by John Czupak, President and CEO, ThreatQuotient provides ThreatQ™, an open threat intelligence platform that enables security teams at global companies to identify, understand, prioritize and act on high-priority threats facing their organization, based on customer-defined parameters.
The company has European operations based out of the UK and France.
