Clavister, a Stockholm, Sweden-based cybersecurity specialist, signed a €20m financing agreement with the EIB.
The agreement was made possible by the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), the central pillar of the Investment Plan for Europe, launched by the EIB Group and the European Commission to boost the competitiveness of the European economy.
Led by John Vestberg, President and CEO, Clavister provides products that protect networks from hacker attacks and other digital security threats.
The company will use proceeds to develop advanced cybersecurity software, hire new computer experts, and expand its sales and marketing presence to take the products to market.
