Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality, a Mumbai, India-based operator of cafes and restaurants, received a private equity investment from L Catterton Asia.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Founded in 2001 by Riyaaz Amlani, Impresario creates experiential Food and Beverage brands.
Its brands include Social, a concept at the intersection of café, workplace, casual dining and pub/bar space. Since the establishment of its first outlet in 2014, Social has grown to 17 outlets across three cities with potential to scale to top 20 cities in India and select markets abroad. Its portfolio also includes restaurants Smoke House Deli, Mocha and French bistro Slink & Bardot.
Impresario Restaurants’ brands are present in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and others.
