PhoneWagon, a New York-based provider of call-tracking software, raised $1.2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Birchmere Ventures with participation from Active Capital.
The company is using the funds to continue to develop the software and expand operations.
Led by CEO Ryan Shank, PhoneWagon provides call tracking software for businesses to improve their marketing spend by placing unique local phone numbers on each of their different marketing campaigns. Businesses can turn off campaigns that aren’t working and can quickly test new ads to further improve ROI.
PhoneWagon also allows businesses to communicate with customers through text messages, both manually and automated.
