Quinyx Raises $12M in Funding

-

Quinyx, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of cloud-based software for businesses of all sizes to manage employee scheduling, communication, task-management and payroll integration, raised $12m in funding.

Battery Ventures made the investment. As part of it, Boston-based Battery General Partner Michael Brown will join Quinyx’s board. Battery Vice President Paul Morrissey, based out of Battery’s London office, will also work closely with the company.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand globally.

Founded in 2005 by CEO Erik Fjellborg, Quinyx provides cloud-based, workforce-management solutions to reduce costs by automating labour-intensive processes like scheduling, payroll, time punching, communication and forecasting.
The company today has about 275,000 users and 500+ customers around the world including brands like Papa John’s, Rituals Cosmetics, London City Airport DHL, Humana, Debenhams and more.
