Alphabet, the parent company of Google, Nest, and other ventures, reportedly acquired Redux, a Cambridge, UK-based haptic feedback technology developer for smartphones, tablets, and PC.
The deal has not been confirmed, yet.
Redux has developed technology which improves User Experience of touch panels and displays with naturalistic sound and haptic feedback. According to the LinkedIn profile, the company had 178 granted patents, over 50 pending patent applications, and global engagement with leaders in multiple vertical markets.
Arie Capital was an investor in Redux.
