Gecko Governance, a Dundalk, Ireland-based developer a blockchain solution for financial services regulatory compliance, raised US$1 in seed funding.
Cosimo Ventures made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to add staff in all of its offices as it expands technology development and client services.
Led by Shane Brett, Chief Executive Officer and co-Founder, Gecko Governance provides Blockchain-integrated technology products that allow fund managers and banks to schedule all end-to-end compliance and regulatory tasks in a single platform, and get access to a verifiable, independent audit trail of compliance to satisfy global financial regulators. From bank stress testing and operational due diligence to fund launches and investor on-boarding, the company offers live oversight of all compliance requirements.
The company also has offices in New York and Sydney.
