Love Stories TV Closes $1.7M Seed Funding Round

Love Stories TV, a NYC-based platform for watching and sharing wedding films, raised $1.7m in seed funding.

Backers included digital, media and e-commerce experts such as Katia Beauchamp and Hayley Barna, Birchbox co-founders who each individually invested in the company.

The company will use the capital to further build the team, enhance the product and grow its video library.

Led by founder and CEO Rachel Jo Silver, LoveStoriesTV.com is a planning tool and entertainment platform which lets couples browse for inspiration, check out venues, watch vows and toasts, see the work of videographers, discover products and services and more. Supporting inclusivity and equality in weddings, Love Stories TV publishes all professionally-produced videos regardless of budget, aesthetic, sexual orientation, culture, religion or country. Visitors spent more than 10+ million minutes watching real-life wedding videos at LoveStoriesTV.com.

The company has just released website and mobile experience upgrades, which include enhanced search and filtering, video uploading and a fully redesigned format, provide a better overall experience for visitors.

In addition to the funding, Love Stories TV has announced the addition of:
– Ronen Magid as Chief Technology Officer, and
– Juliette Dallas-Feeney as its new Brand Partnerships Director.
