Shiftboard, a Seattle, WA-based provider of scheduling and hourly workforce management solutions, completed an $11.5m Series A funding.
The round was led by NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from NewRoad Capital Partners through Kayne NewRoad Ventures Fund II, a growth equity fund managed in partnership with Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors,L.P., and with participation from new and existing investors including Voyager Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Clete Brewer, Managing Partner at NewRoad Capital, will join Shiftboard’s board of directors.
The company will use the funds to accelerate growth and customer traction.
Founded in 2002 and led by Sterling Wilson, President and CEO, Shiftboard provides a cloud-based scheduling and hourly workforce management solution for medium and large workforces. The company serves thousands of customers across a number of industries including healthcare, staffing, venue management, consumer services, and higher education.
