Swarm64, an Oslo, Norawy-based enabler of real-time analytics for high velocity and big data, has secured a Series B funding round of $12.5m.
The round was led by Intel Capital and Investinor, with participation from Alliance Venture and Target Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its position as a global leader in FPGA-based accelerators for relational databases.
Led by Karsten Rönner, CEO, Swarm64 provides a scalable data accelerator (SDA), which enables relational databases to perform real-time big data analytics. The company has operations in Berlin, Germany.
