tryb Group, a Singaporean financial infrastructure company that buys, builds and operates growth stage and middle market financial technology companies, received a US$30m investment.
Makara Innovation Fund made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to acquire, develop and scale up growth stage financial technology companies that have strong intellectual property and are focused on digitizing financial flows, prioritizing key segments as related to SME lending, trade finance and micro-credit.
Led by Markus Gnirck (Co-founder and CEO) and Veiverne Yuen (Co-founder and CIO), tryb is a financial infrastructure company that buys, builds and operates growth stage and middle market financial technology companies. The companies – which form an integrated platform of enterprise (B2B) financial technology solutions aimed at improving efficiencies and driving growth – enable institutions to shape the future of financial services in the ASEAN region.
