Aperio Systems, a Haifa, Israel-based company providing the last line of defense for securing critical infrastructure, received a $4.5m seed funding round.
Backers included strategic investor Energias de Portugal (EDP), Data Point Capital, Jump Capital and Scopus Ventures, which all joined a consortium of private investors, including prominent cybersecurity veterans Doron Bergerbest-Eilon, Liran Tancman, and Shlomi Boutnaru.
The company intends to use the funds to introduce its Intrusion Prevention System (IPS for SCADA) globally following beta programs across sites in EMEA.
