Bring!, a Zurich, Switzerland-based provider of a shopping list platform, received USD$2.5m in funding.
Backers included Swisscom Ventures, Swiss Founders Fund and and several business angels from investiere.ch.
The company will use the funds to further expand its position in Europe over the next 18 months, via user base and partner integration scaling.
Founded in 2015 by Marco Cerqui, Dominic Mehr, Sandro Strebel, Bring! provies a shopping list platform for grocery shopping, which imports and stores recipes and ingredients, coordinates multi-person households’ shopping lists and finds suitable offers in catalogs.
With the shopping and productivity app combined, users can create shopping lists using smartphones, tablets, smart watches, Amazon Echo and Google Home, share them with others and plan food shopping together. By leveraging machine learning, the app can also predict when to buy a product again.
The app is available for iOS, Android and web browsers.
In Germany, Bring! has already partnered with well-known companies like kaufDA/Bonial.com and some of the largest recipe websites. In Switzerland, the company is already working with partners like Betty Bossi, Fooby.ch or Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
Bring! Labs AG currently has ten employees.
