doopoll Receives Investment from the Development Bank of Wales

-

doopoll, a Cardiff, Wales, UK-based polling software company, received an additional investment from the Development Bank of Wales.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, recruiting for three new staff, based between their Cardiff and Dorset offices, and develop the platform.

Led by CEO Marc Thomas, Chief Commercial Officer Steve Dimmick and Chief Product Officer Sam Goudie, doopoll provides an online platform to create simple and engaging polls shared in communications campaigns, at events, on social media and many more places.
Users include companies like O2, Welsh Rugby Union, Admiral and Ty Hafan.

The company first received an initial six-figure investment from the Development Bank of Wales and angel investor Konrad Litwin in April 2016. They have recently received an additional investment from the development bank. Funding for both deals came from the Wales Technology Seed Fund.
