Highfive Raises $32M Series C Funding

-

Highfive, a Redwood City, CA-based video conferencing company, raised $32m in Series C funding.

The round – which brings total funding to US$77.4m – was led by Dimension Data, with participation from existing investors Lightspeed, General Catalyst, and Andreessen Horowitz. In conjunction with the funding, Joe Manuele, Group Executive Vice President of Customer Experience and Collaboration at Dimension Data, has joined the company’s board. Dimension Data’s investment follows the completion of a strategic global distribution deal with Highfive.

The company will use the funding to scale its sales and marketing teams and expand its business across the globe.

Led by Shan Sinha, Co-Founder and CEO, Highfive provides a video conferencing system for meeting rooms made of hardware and integrated cloud-based software with no cables, dongles, app downloads or remote controls. The company has also scaled up its worldwide data center presence using the AWS Cloud to support its list of international customers with data centers in 18 geographic regions around the world.
Clients include Paperless Post, The Hustle, Bankrate, The Atlantic, Warby Parker, Harry’s, Expensify, and the Girl Scouts of Northern California.
