Patron Technology, a ticketing and event experience software company, acquired Greencopper, a Montreal, Canada-based provider of mobile and web technologies for live events.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by Gwenaël Le Bodic, founder and CEO, Greencopper provides live event goers engage with the events they attend through mobile apps and web tools. Innovations also offer interactive maps, messaging and music discovery tools that foster deeper connections with fans throughout the live event to enhance their experience.
Clients range from small festivals to some of the world’s largest live events including Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Roskilde Festival, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Bottlerock, Pitchfork Music Festival and Stagecoach Festival.
The company, which also has a local presence in France, the United States, Denmark and the Netherlands, providing digital solutions for more than 300 events in over 25 countries annually, will continue to service its clients as it becomes integrated as a part of the Patron Technology platform.
