Figo Pet Insurance, a Chicago, IL-based insurtech startup for pet owners, raised $4m in funding.
The round was led by HCS Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Rusty Sproat, CEO & Founder, Figo provides cloud-based health insurance plans for cats and dogs, enabling users to get a quote, submit claims from their mobile device, and get reimbursed electronically. The company’s free cloud based services feature real time record management, smartphone applications, pet gps location services, among others.
Figo is a National Pet Insurance MGA company.
Other pet GPS location trakers are available for owners to take care of their domestic animals.
