Moltin Raises $8M in Series A Funding

-

Moltin, a Boston, MA-based provider of an API-based digital commerce solution, closed an $8m USD Series A funding.

The round, which brings the total investment to $10m to date, was led by Underscore VC with participation from existing investors Connect Ventures and Frontline Ventures.

The company will use the funds to continue to expand its business reach.

Led by newly named CEO Jamus Driscoll, a former Demandware executive, who has joined co-founders Adam Sturrock, Chris Roach and Jamie Holdroyd, Moltin enables retailers to leverage content and design technologies to build emotive brand experiences. Its APIs connect all the components of a commerce system and enable retailers to deliver holistic experiences to consumers wherever they interact with the brand, including interactive digital displays, social media, smart televisions, video games or any other touchpoint.
The company also has offices in Newcastle, UK.
