Starsky Robotics, a San Francisco, CA-based autonomous trucking tech company, raised $16.5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Shasta Ventures with participation from Y Combinator, Trucks.vc, 50 Years and 9Point Ventures.
The company will use the funds to continue to grow its team and continue to develop the technology.
Led by chief executive officer and co-founder Stefan Seltz-Axmacher, Starsky Robotics is advancing a system to make trucks autonomous on the highway and remote controlled by drivers for the first and last mile.
The company has also announced it drove a truck 7 miles fully unmanned . It is searching for partners to contine to test its solutions.
