Wingly, a Paris, France-based flight sharing platform, closed a €2m seed funding round.
Backers included Howzat Partners, and angels Philipp Rösler, and Stephane Mayer.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the team and expand internationally.
Founded in 2015, Wingly is a flight sharing platform connecting pilots and passengers. Private pilots can add flights they have planned on the website, then potential passengers can book via the system. Besides flights to a destination, there is also a huge range of short and long discovery flights.
The company is currently active in England, France & Germany and already hosts more than 150,000 users. Over 60,000 flights are currently available on the platform.
