Applitools, a San Mateo, Calif.-based Application Visual Management platform provider, raised $31m in Series C funding.
The round was led by OpenView, with participation from its existing investors Sierra Ventures, Magma Venture Partners, iAngels, and La Maison. In conjunction with the funding, Jim Baum, Venture Partner at OpenView, joined the Applitools board.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate market expansion of its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Powered Visual Testing and Monitoring solution by scaling its R&D, Operations, and Sales.
Founded in 2013 and led by Gil Sever, CEO, Applitools uses AI powered image processing technology to ensure that an application appears correctly and functions properly on all mobile devices, browsers, operating systems and screen sizes. The company has more than 300 customers from a range of verticals, including Fortune 100 companies in software, banking, online retail, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and more.
Applitools has an R&D center in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Since it was founded, Applitools has raised more than $46m.
