BuildingConnected Raises $15M in Funding

BuildingConnected, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of software for real estate owners and general contractors to facilitate selecting contractors for construction projects, raised $15m in funding.

Backers included Brookfield Ventures, Brookfield Asset Management’s new venture fund.

The investment brings the company’s total funding to $53m.

Co-founded in 2012 by Dustin DeVan and Jesse Pederson, BuildingConnected provides communication software for over 170,000 owners, general contractors and subs monthly to manage construction projects. The projects represent builders like Clark Construction, Mortenson, McCarthy, StructureTone, Shawmut, Turner Construction, and others.
The company also works with owners and developers such as Brookfield, Panera Bread, UCSF, and Duke Realty.
