Zimplistic, a Singapore-based kitchen robotics startup raised US$30m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Credence Partners, and EDBI.
The investment follows the announcement Zimplistic had US$20 million in revenue in its first year of sales, and expansion into five new markets (U.K., Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and Canada).
The company will use the funds to continue to expand its business reach.
Led by Rishi Israni, CEO and Co-Founder, and CTO and Co-Founder Pranoti Nagarkar, Zimplistic is a kitchen robotics startup that integrates consumer robotics with IoT. The company’s flagship product, Rotimatic, is a fully automatic flatbread making robot that can roll out any kind of flatbread such as roti (traditional Indian flatbread), pizza, base, tortilla, wraps, millet flour and gluten-free. It is available in the USA, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the Middle East and Canada.
